Final essay about princess : Whose better for the role model for girls, Snow White or Merida?

In Disney movies there have shown many princesses but among the princess we discussed in class, Merida is the most positive role model for girls. Merida is the princess who was shown lately in 2012. As the generation changing, the princess' characteristic is changing. I researched the princess called Snow White who was shown in 1937. Snow white was just quiet, kind and only her ability is to talk with animals. But in the movie, Brave, Merida has a red hair and a bright face. She likes to ride horse, Angus and use bows to fight. Her hobby is absolutely archery. She loves eating foods. Her mom tries to make her behaving like a princess. Merida changed her fates by herself. but snow white's fate was changed by prince and her stepmother, the queen. To say short, snow white is just kind and foolish but Merida is selfish but confident and adventurous. So, I recommend Merida to be a role model. I liked Merida's confidence and positive characteristic. I'm not saying that only positive characteristic is good. I'm just saying it's good to smile or act positively following nowadays' trend. What I want to say is the characteristic from now and then was very different and to adapt to these days' circumstances, we should also adapt to the characteristics.

The movie 'Brave'

Last Friday, I watched the movie Brave. It was about changing the fate. I just thought 'How could she change the fate?' I had too much doubt. Merilda is a princess of one country and that country has three clans. Merilda should marry three sons from each clans. Her mom ordered her to do not disrupt the wedding but actually Merilda made the problem. Merilda refused to marry and made her mom to be a bear. Merilda just wanted her mom to change her personality but the result was awful. She tried her best to turn her mother back and it worked. Finally, she changed her fate and she got her freedom.
I think Merilda's word, "fate could be changed' is right. She didn't want to be princess but she finally become free. Even though Merilda changed his mother to bear but I'm sure that Merilda just tried to change her fate. Her mom was wrong not Merilda. Her mom just wanted Merilda to be a real princess. But I thnk Merilda has a right to be free.

After watching Adora Svitak

I watched the video called TED and one kid novelist claimed that kids could teach adults and kid and adults should be deserved equally and there are three reasons for me to be against with her I think kids should learn from adults.
Firstly, kids are not enough mature like adults. You make many mistakes right? It's because we are human, but adults make less mistakes than kids. Their brain is already big enough to decide what is right and what is wrong.
Secondly, kids will be in dange if they are not educated. As I mentioned, kids make many mistakes. Then, what if kids can't be educated? Could they know how to eat or how to walk? Think about the time when you are toddler. I'm sure that your parents will help you how to walk and how to eat meals. If they didn't, you are not able to look at my articles.
Finally, adults have more information because they have enough experimences. It is similar statement but when they live for about over 30 years, they would be a professional of living. They can ride transporations, cook or clean their clothes very well but we can't right?
According to the reasons I mentioned, children should be teached by adults. Some people say that children can teach adults of English and music but it's not only kids cando. If adults learn how to do that things, they will be better than children.
